About Agera® Skin Peel

Is it safe?
Agera® skin peels are very safe. However, like any treatment there are contra-indications and a small risk of complications. Therefore at Radiance Beauty & Day Spa, all clients have a consultation with a clinician during which they can discuss the treatment and any questions that might arise.
The Treatment
The number of treatments needed will depend on the clients skin type and what they want to achieve from the treatment. Generally a course of 5 treatments is recommended, with or without Medical Microdermabrasion depending on the condition of the skin, although this may vary.
Agera® peels come in different strengths. To produce optimal results, the clinician will assess the client’s skin and choose an appropriate strength of peel. This will then be increased in strength as the client’s skin tolerates it.
How many treatments will I need?

How long does the treatment take?
The Agera® peel by itself usually takes approximately 30 minutes. If combined with Medical Microdermabrasion then both treatments combined will take about 1 hour in total.
